Lisa Lee, the Judge's Administrative Assistant, and Billy Dean Coffey, Magistrate in District 5, both underwent surgery today. Thursday, January 15, 2009. Lisa Lee is recovering following surgery at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. Magistrate Coffey had triple bypass heart surgery at Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY, Judge Melton said. "Both of them are doing well, according to the reports we've received," Judge Melton said. She said that other members of her office are working to fill in for Lisa Lee, and that the CJE's office will take calls for concerns in District 5 for Magistrate Coffey until he is fully recovered and able to resume his duties. The number at the County Judge's office is (270) 384-4703. "We want both Lisa Lee and Magistrate Coffey to know that our prayers are with them and we ask that all Adair Countians keep them and their families in their hearts and prayers during this time."
