Letter: Support's Beverly Merritt's Letter

About: "Reader cites CDC research for staying Dry"

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

As I read Beverly's comment on the wet dry issue. I had tears come to my eyes. Hat's off to you. Bev, for submitting a very educated and honest and humble comment.

I hope readers will educate themselves on this issue and do the research needed before making a comment. Life brought my beliefs for my No comment. It seems I am almost standing alone for the No alcohol in Adair County. Your comment just reminds me that even though we sometimes think we stand alone, we are not alone.

Thank you for loving our home town and Adair County's values. If there are others out there that have opinions on this different from ours, just do the math. Please take the time to research and weigh the pros and cons. I am so thankful I am not potilicaly correct that can't take a stand on this issue, and with regards still sign my comments.s/Alice Faye Wheeler
A proud life long resident of Adair County
