Gas Price Drumbeat: They are at it again!

Ed:

They are at it again, Nationaly gas prices are $1.74. All around us gas is as low as $1.55 Meantime here at home our gas is $1.88. What is going on with our gas dealers? I live and work right here in Columbia. Why are our gas dealers doing this to us?

s/Gerald Doss

The answer is, and, again we don't blame our local, independent dealers: Because we're silly. We keep buying when we ought to be parking our cars, waling, biking riding horses, carpooling, going electrical, putting in local bus systems, bringing back Greyhound, making every street in Columbia safe and legal for golf carts, using alternative fuel, even doing the unthinkable and asking the legislature to put a tax on gas equal to the price of gas. Otherwise the energy industry will keep manipulating us like the ninnies we are. If we are willing to talk with our dollars, we aren't going to be heard. Now that Detroit carmakers have gone broke, even they are embracing electric cars -Ed
