37 Russell Countians on 2008 Fall LWC academic honors

This is the third couny, LWC Fall 2008, academic honors which has been posted. Adair was first, followed by Taylor. Yet planned for posting are the lists from Casey, Cumberland, Green, and Metcalfe Counties.

COLUMBIA, Ky. - Thirty-seven Russell County residents have earned academic honors from Lindsey Wilson College for the 2008 fall semester.

Nine students have been named to the President's List, and 23 students have been named to the Dean's List:Named to the President's List are:


  • Vanessa Garr, a human services and counseling senior from Jamestown; Jamestown
  • Carolee Coffey, a human services and counseling junior from Russell Springs
  • Lindsay Egnew, an elementary education senior from Russell Springs
  • Brandon Flatt, an elementary education junior from Russell Springs
  • Linda Knight, a human services and counseling sophomore from Jamestown
  • Thomas Mathews, a human services and counseling junior from Russell Springs
  • Robin Smith, a human services and counseling senior from Russell County
  • Rana Thompson, a Christian ministries sophomore from Russell Springs
  • and Sherry Wilson, a human services and counseling junior from Russell Springs.
Named to the Deans List are:
  • Sharon Beach, a social science senior from Russell Springs
  • Holly Bennett, a Christian ministries freshman from Russell Springs
  • Lindsay Bennett, an elementary education junior from Russell Springs
  • Chelsea Boger, an elementary education sophomore from Jamestown
  • Krista Burton, a business administration junior from Jamestown
  • Maria Cooper, a human services and counseling freshman from Russell Springs
  • Tiffany Catron, an elementary education senior from Russell Springs
  • Bethany Foley, a criminal justice senior from Russell Springs
  • Leslie Grant, an education freshman from Russell Springs
  • Brandon Hadley, an education senior from Russell Springs
  • Samantha Hadley, a health and physical education major from Russell Springs
  • Kathryn Hammond, a business administration sophomore from Russell Springs

  • Amanda McGowan, an undecided junior from Russell Springs

  • Megan Merrick, an undecided freshman from Russell Springs
  • Denisha Morgan, a history senior from Russell Springs
  • Nicole Parks, a business administration junior from Russell Springs
  • Mark Rapone, an undeclared freshman from Jamestown
  • Casey Rexroat, a business administration junior from Russell Springs

  • Tishanna Sullivan, an elementary education senior from Russell Springs

Students named to the Presidents List have a semester grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 scale in 12 hours of academic credit. Students named to the Deans List have a semester grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 grade scale in 12 hours of academic credit.
