Obituary: Jon Curtis Sneed, 25

Mr. Sneed was a member of a respected Adair County family. He was a member 7th Day Adventist Church, a member of the Russell Springs Masonic Lodge, a member of the Eastern Star, and was employed by Guard Smart with Fruit of the Loom in Jamestown, KY

Jon Curtis Sneed, 25, Columbia, KY, died Friday, January 9, 2009, at 11:26pm at the Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room, Columbia, KY, from injuries received in an automobile accident on Highway West 80.

Visitation will be from 4-9:00pmCT, Sunday, January 11, 2009, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY. The funeral service will be private in accordance with Jon's wishes. A Masonic service will be Sunday, January 11, 2009, at 7:00pmCT, at the funeral home with Russell Springs Lodge #941 in charge.



He is survived by the following:
  • His parents: Gary Curtis and Mildred Harmon Sneed, Columbia, KY

  • His brother: Ronald C. Sneed, Columbia, KY

  • His grandmothers: Elsie Brown Sneed and Annie Denton Harmon, both of Edmonton, KY
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard Curtis Sneed and Franze Harmon.

Jon was a member of Columbia Seventh Day Adventist Church, a member of Russell Springs Masonic Lodge #941 F&AM, a member of Eastern Star, and was employed by Guard Smart at Fruit of the Loom in Jamestown, KY.

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
