KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY issues Dec. 2008 activity report By Tpr. Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY During the month of December, 2008, there were 43 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington. There was one fatality:
State wide fatality count stands at 816 compared with 855 through this same period in 2007. During the month of December 2008, there were 1,087 citations written, 245 courtesy notices written, 1,629 vehicles inspected, 930 complaints answered, 103 motorists assisted, 64 criminal cases opened and 391 criminal arrests made.
