Gas Price Drumbeat: What is going on? Writer calls 43 cent differential on gas prices a rip-off Ed: Here we are again: Gas in Columbia $1.88.I just checked all around us is starts at $1.45. That's 43 cents of a rip off. Wonder what is going on here in our hometown? National average is $1.67 this morning. s/Gerald Doss Holy Jack Conway! That's incredible! Could it be time to park our cars and wait for electrics, air cars, fuel cells, public transportation? Ride bicycles. Should we have shovel ready railroads ready to build on January 20, 2009? Walk?
