Looking Ahead 2009: Strongly for moist/wet town (signed!)

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I am very much in support of the county going moist/wet.

Those that think that the there isn't drinking in this town or on the college campus due to the town being dry are badly mistaken.

Allowing people to purchase and consume alcohol in this county would open the door for more industry and keep money that is spent in other counties here.

Those that chose to drink will do so whether they can buy it here or have to drive somewhere else.

I would rather they be able to purchase it locally than drive to Lebanon and be drunk by the time they get back. If you research, you will discover that there are less DUI's in wet towns than in dry towns.

s/Amy Pike
