Genealogical Society has high praise for Gaither portrayals J.D. and Ellen Zornes give society look into lives of Dr. Nathan and Martha Gaither. Mr. Richard Phelps will present Elder Z.T. Williams at February 2, 2009 meeting By Lila Ford The Adair County Public Library and the Adair County Genealogical Society would like to thank J. D. and Ellen Zornes for their spectacular portrayals of Dr. Nathan and Martha Gaither at last night's Genealogy meeting. Everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed the history lesson from the Gaithers. J. D. and Ellen stated that the research that they did through the Library and the Genealogy section allowed them a glimpse into Nathan and Martha's life. We all learned what life was like for them here in Adair County and how times have changed through the years. We would also like to announce that on February 2, 2009 we will have the pleasure of having Rev. Z. T. Williams coming to the February meeting of the Society. The Rev. Williams will be portrayed by Adair County's wonderful historian Richard Phelps. It is so wonderful that we have so many here in Adair County that wish to preserve our history and keep in alive for those interested. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings held regulary on the first Monday of each month at the Adair County Public Library. Meetings start at 6:00pmCT. If you would like to join the Society you can do so at the Public Library. This story was posted on 2009-01-06 09:52:45
