Two vehicle injury crash follows U-turn try on US68

Collision occurrred at 4:30pmCT on US 68 at the intersection of Garrett Lane, approximately two miles east of Lebanon, KY in Marion County, KY.

Jessica Hill, age 28, Gravel Switch, who was belted, was operating a 1989 Plymouth 4-door. A passenger in the Hill vehicle, David Hill, 30, Gravel Switch, was not belted. Both occupants of the Hill vehicle were transported to Springview Hospital by Marion County EMS. Both were treated and released.



Shawn Abell, age 38, Bardstown, who was belted, was operating a 2007 Ford 4 Door. Mr. Abell was not injured.

The Hill vehicle was traveling east bound on US68. The Abell vehicle was also traveling east bound on US68. The Hill vehicle was stopped in the emergency lane of US68. The Hill vehicle attempted to make a U-turn when it came in contact with the Abell vehicle.
