Epicurean Kentuckian: Critics Choice at Smoky Valley, OH! KY

CM Boy Food Critic Evan Waggener has no trouble eyeing his choice between these two foods at Smoky Valley Truck Stop in Olive Hill, Carter Co., KY. The coconut pie his mom captured was pronounced it "most excellent"; while grown ups in his party said the cucumber/carrot salad was tops, as well. Evan pioneered the family visit to Smoky Valley when he escorted his Papaw and Nana, Ken and Kay Smith, to it after they were alerted to its "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" fame after being featured on the Food Network show with a visit by Guy Fieri. The young critic refers to Smoky Valley as "That Famous Place," and gives it 11 link sausages on his 10 Link Rating Scale.
