Obituary: John Robert (Junior) London, 78, Metcalfe Co., LKUY

Mr. London was a member of a respected North Metcalfe family and was a member of the Wisdom Faith Community Church at Wisdom, KY

John Robert (Junior) London, 78, Knob Lick, KY, died Saturday, January 3, 2009, at T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pmCT, Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmontpm with burial in the Big Meadow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pmCT, Monday, January 5, 2009, at the funeral home.

He was the son of the late Johnny Wesley and Ollie Trent London.

He was a member of the Wisdom Faith Community Church at Wisdom.

He is survived by his wife, Naomi Glass London, and the following:
  • One daughter: Portia (Freddie) Ford, Glasgow, KY

  • Two sons: Danny (Julie) London, Edmonton; and Johnny Steve London, Knob Lick, KY

  • One brother, Bill London, Evansville, IN

  • And four grandchildren and seven grandchildren
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael Keith Ford; one brother, Joe London; and one sister, Virginia Jewell.
Butler Funeral Home, Edmonton, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
