LWC Women's Basketball falls to Daemen 61-58 Viktoria Krell has 25 points, 9 rebounds; Raiders in action today By Chris Wells, LWC Sports Informtion Director LAKE WALES, FL - The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team dropped its first game of the New Year 61-58 to Daemen (NY) College today at the Warner (FL) University 2009 New Year's Invitational. The Blue Raiders (10-3) shot just 32.8 percent (19-of-58) from the field including 17.8 percent (2-of-13) from beyond the three point arc en route to the loss. The Daemen (7-3) win ends Lindsey Wilson's four-game winning streak. Lindsey Wilson sophomore center Viktoria Krell led the Blue Raiders with 25 points and nine rebounds. Junior guard Sierra Rambert added 11 points. Daemen's Sara Bogardus led all scores with 26 points. Lindsey Wilson Women's Basketball returns to action at 5:00pmCT on Friday, Janury 2, 2009 against St. Thomas (FL) University in the second day of the Warner Invitational.
