Kudos to LWC! Writer suggests direct gives to college

Writer lauds Dan Koger's ideas on Lindsey Wilson owning golf course, re-invigorating it to create unimaginable intangible benefits for community
About: OP-ED - Pinewood: It's not just about the golf course

Ed,

I must respond to your OP-ED about the golf course!

I say kudos to Lindsey Wilson College and the Columbia citizens who have such a forward-looking vision to save the Pine Wood golf course!!

I was a resident of Adair County for only twelve years, but the fond memories keep drawing me back 'home' after being away for more than 50 years!

When I attended Lindsey Wilson College it was a small junior college of only 300 students. Without the vision of the LWC trustees, administrative staff and community visionaries, it could have remained a small junior college and wouldn't have the large financial impact on Columbia and surrounding area that you now enjoy.

A reinvigorated Pine Wood will create unimagined intangibles for all the community!

I think donations for this project could be given directly to Lindsey Wilson College as a tax deductible gift. Count me in!!
