Fire destroys house on Enchanted Forest Lane near GRL By Donald Hare, ACFD Public Affairs Officer The Adair County Fire Departmentresponded to a house fire at 8:14pmCT, Wednesday night, December 31, 2008, at 116 Enchanted Forest Lane off of Holmes Bend Road. The home belonging to Jerry and Sharon Pierce and a log cabin were totally destroyed by fire. The cause has yet to be determined. There were 19 firemen on the scene for two hours.
