LOOKING AT GREENSBURG from North Mian Street, starting at the Greensburg Baptist Church, and, on the right, the city's new rock wall and sidewalk treatment. The destination community now has much more to offer along with the Old Courthouse. The street treatment includes downtown landscaping, special streetlights, benches, and pedestrian friendly walkways. For photographers, there are no unsightly utility lines in the main downtown area. Construction activity at the Lindsey Wilson College Wellness Center was brisk on a spring like Monday, December 29, 2008, when this photo was taken. The building will have 73,223 square feet, or one and one half the area of the Fugitte Science Center, the largest building on the LWC campus at present, and will be about one-half the size of the Wal-Mart Supercenter at Holladay Place.
