Driver injured in early AM Christmas Day accident KSP assisted by Washington EMS and Springfield Fire Department An injury collision occurred at 3:55amETT on Bloomfield Rd, 5 miles north of Springfield, KY. James T Spalding age 20 of Springfield was operating a 1984 Chevy pickup. Spalding was traveling north on KY 55 when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a ditch. He was transported by EMS to Springview Hospital and later to U of L for treatment. He was not wearing a seat belt. The Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by Washington County EMS and Springfield Fire Department. The Incident was investigated by trooper Nathan Rhodes of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY.
