Letter: Who is this person with the old Christmas socks?

About: World's Oldest Christmas Socks in Columbia?

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I lived in Tampa for 40 years of my life and would like to know something about the person who bought the Christmas socks at Maas Brothers in Tampa.

That was a neat story, wasn't it? As for your question: Little is known about this born again Adair Countian. So many other people would like to know more about the shy, reclusive author who writes under the name, "Barbara Armitage," sells garden plants, makes incredible cinnamon rolls, directs crusades behind the scenes, and is Adair County's Billy Graham of Recycling. We would not impose on her privacy, but let her know how to contact you and perhaps tempt the timid eremite out of her shell. Maybe remove the one degree of separation between you two one-timeTampatonians. Let us know if you find out anything. Her husband is a nice guy. -CM
