Red Barn Bar-B-Q sustains moderate to heavy damage in fire 4:25am blaze discovered by Columbia Policeman on patrol By Donald Hare, Columbia Fire Department Public Affairs Officer The Columbia Fire Department received a call at 4:25am, Sunday morning, December 14, 2008, of a fire at The Red Barn Bar-B-Q at 309 Hudson Street, Columbia, The fire was discovered by a Columbia Police Department officer while on patrol. Upon firefighters arrival the fire looked to have originated in the kitchen area, the interior sustained moderate to heavy damage. There were 17 firemen on the scene for around an hour and half.
