Lindsey Wilson (8-2) used a smothering defense to hold the Lady Oaks to 36.4 percent (20-of-55) shooting from the field, including 18.8 percent (3-of-16) from beyond the three-point line. The Blue Raiders also forced the visitors into 19 turnovers.

The Lady Oaks (4-4) kept it close early on -- tying the score six times in the first half -- until the Blue Raiders used a 10-2 run late in the half to push the score to 33-25 going into the break.

Lindsey Wilson never trailed again.

In the second half the Blue Raiders used a balanced scoring attack and shot 63 percent (17-of-27) from the floor leading to 45 second half points.

The Blue Raiders used a 16-4 run midway through the second half to break open the game. Spillman, a Barren County native, scored six points and grabbed three rebounds during the decisive run. She added 11 rebounds on the night to finish with her second double-double of the season.

Junior guard Sierra Rambert scored 17 points and freshman guard Michelle Copley chipped in 11.

Oakland City senior guard Karissa Walter and junior forward Kristi McVey led the Lady Oaks with 17 points each.
