KSP Post 15 issues November 2008 Activity Report By Trooper William Gregory, Public Affairs Director KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY During the month of November, 2008, there were 45 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington.There was one fatality:
State wide fatality count stands at 738 compared with 801 through this same period in 2007. During the month of November 2008, there were 1,696 citations written, 344 courtesy notices written, 2,168 vehicles inspected, 987 complaints answered, 100 motorists assisted, 69 criminal cases opened and 379 criminal arrests made.
