Boil water precaution in effect until further notice
A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for customers living East of Burkesville Street and also East of Campbellsville Street inside the city limits. The advisory has been issued due to a main water line break. Following such an event, the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply, therefore this Boil Water Advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure. Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking, bringing the water to a rolling boil for three minutes before using. The advisory will remain in effect until the situation has been corrected and test results have shown the water to be of an acceptable quality. For more information concerning the Boil Water Advisory, contact Columbia Utilities at (270) 384-2006. -JADA COOMER

(ADV): The Epicurean Kentuckian: Report on Papa Bear's Hotdog in Chicagoland
There's no picture to go with this, but Big Rig food critic Allen Owens reported from dockside in Chicago that his lunch yesterday was a Chicago hotdog from Papa Bear's in Aurora, IL. In the City of Big Shoulders, hotdogs at Papa Bear's come in a box packed with more French Fries than one person can eat. The hotdog is a Vienna Beef Co. All-Beef Wiener. It served on a sesame seed bun, with a Kosher pickle spear, neon green relish, sport peppers, onions, slices of Roma tomatoes, cucumber, spicy mustard standard, which is the way he eats them, but additional adornments are optional. "A lot of drivers order two or three of them," he said, "but I'm a thin truck driver, A single box is more than I need for lunch." He gets good mileage out of the meal, he says, at a good price. "It costs around $3 for the dog and fries," he said. "I usually make it back to Louisville before I have to eat again." That's almost 300 miles, about five hours, on a Chicago Hotdog and French Fries.
