COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's and women's soccer teams continue their quest for the NAIA National Championship on Monday with second round games in Fresno, CA and Daytona Beach, FL.

The Blue Raider women open the second round of the women's tournament at 10amCT at Embry-Riddle University Soccer Field in Daytona Beach against McKendree (IL) University.

Lindsey Wilson advanced to the second round with a 1-0 win over Siena Heights (MI) University on November 22 at Walter S. Reuling Stadium. The opening round was played at 15 on-campus sites around the NAIA.

The top-seeded Blue Raiders (19-1) enter the second round match on a 14-game winning streak. Lindsey Wilson finished the regular season ranked No. 1 in the final NAIA Coaches' Top-25 poll, a position they held the final seven ratings of the season.

In its 10th NAIA National Tournament appearance, Lindsey Wilson -- 16-8-2 all-time in the national tournament -- seeks its third national championship. The Blue Raiders won the 2004 and 2006 titles.

No. 16-seed McKendree (19-1-1) advanced to the second round with a 1-0 home win over Kansas Wesleyan University on Nov. 22. The Bearcats are 4-4-1 all-time in their fifth appearance.

The winner advances to the national quarterfinals at 3:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Dec. 3, against the winner of No. 8-seed Graceland (Iowa) University and No. 9-seed Northwood (FL) University.

The No. 3-seeded Blue Raider men face No. 14-seed Mount Vernon Nazarene (OH) University at 4:30pmCT at Ramirez Field in Fresno.

Lindsey Wilson advanced to the second round with a 6-0 win over King (TN) College on Nov. 22 at Walter S. Reuling Stadium. Like the women's tournament, the opening round was played at 15 on-campus sites around the NAIA.

Lindsey Wilson enters the second round with an 18-1-1 record and winners of nine straight. The Blue Raiders finished the regular season as the No. 1 team in the NAIA Coaches' Top-25 poll and earned the tournament's three seed based on their Longo ranking.

The Blue Raiders own the most titles and most wins in the field. Lindsey Wilson is one of four schools in the field with a national championship. The Blue Raiders have won seven championships, while University of Mobile (AL), University of Rio Grande (OH) and Westmont (CA) College each have one title.

Lindsey Wilson is 35-8-4 in its 16th appearance in the national tournament.

Mount Vernon Nazarene (16-3-2) defeated Lee (TN) University 2-0 in the opening round. The Cougars are making their first-ever appearance in the national tournament.
