Obituary: Jimmy Howard, 62 Mr. Howard was representative of the Texas Book Company and a member of a highly regarded Adair County family Jimmy Howard, 62, Columbia, SC, died suddenly Saturday afternoon at the St. Joseph East Hospital Emergency Room in Lexington, KY. The funeral service will be Monday, December 1, 2008, at 1:00pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Monday, December 1, 2008. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Clayton Howard, and by a daughter, Alison Nicole Pope.Survivors include the following:
