To read this and other CM front page articles in full, and see photos, if any, click on headline Betty Sue Jasper sent a photo which shows a quilt pattern on the house on Dunnville Road in front of the Camp Billy Williams wayside marker on Dunnville Road, about two miles NE of the Eunice Church of God at the foot of Dug Hill in Eunice, KY on KY 206. The Wayside Marker explains much of the location's importance in the Civil War and says, in part, "In December 1861 Union Col. Frank Wolford, with companies A, B, C, and H of the 1st Kentucky Cavalry was order to Camp Billy Williams, named for the owner of the farm on which the camp was located. The wayside marker also has an old map of the area, pictures of roads and conveyances of the time, and a very brief biographical account of William Honnell, a young Centre-educated Presybterian Minister who "helped move the body of Confederate General Felix Zollicoffer during the Battle if Mill Springs to prevent it from being trampled." Another quilt pattern can be seen on the porch, and two smaller ones adorn a little well house by the Wayside Marker.
