ONE of the MOST BEAUTIFUL STORIES about Thanksgiving was posted Thursday on CM. The story, "A Memorable Hinman Thanksgiving. ca 1933," was written by 86 year old Charles Hinman, above. Another of Mr. Hinman's short stories will appear on Sunday, November 30, 2008.

ACHS BAND


During the Christmas in Columbia on December 6th the Adair County Marching Band will be providing professional pictures with Santa. There will be two packages available.Package A will have an 8 x 10, 5 x 7, and 4 x 6 while Package B will provide six 4 x 6's. Each of these package will cost $15.00. You may personalize your package(s) with your childs name on the pictures for an additional $5.00. All proceeds will benefit the 2009 trip to New York to perform in the Macy's Day Parade.
