Benefit for Tim & Ashley Bottom, November 29, 2008 Event will include Texas Holdem tournament, silent auction By Jennifer Carter A benefit will be held for Tim & Ashley Bottoms Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the old Harvey-Ellis building on Greensburg Street, beside the Public Library. Tim recently suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns over a large portion of his body and will be having skin graph surgery while his wife Ashley is recovering from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident less that a year ago. A Texas Holdem Tournament will be held with ample but limited number of players. Registration will begin at 5:3pm with the game to begin at 6:00pm Players must be 21 or over. A 50/50 payout will be the top prize. Because of the tournament we ask that small children not attend. There will also be a silent auction held with all proceeds going to Tim & Ashley. Several businesses and individuals have donated items for the auction and a partial list is provided: Full size bed liner, two burger dinner certificates, oil change gift certificates, furniture, motorcycle helmet, 12' gate, salon gift certificate, sports warn hats and mug, drive-in gift certificate, salon gift certificates for pedicure, shampoo, and 30-minute massage, $50 driveway seal certificate, certificate for 2 dinners, electric drill, and other items.Food will be served. We hope to see you there. We want to thank everyone that has contributed financially, donated items for the auction or donated food.
