Adair Countians discover again, in Rome, it's a small world

Story remembered upon reading: How Grover proved or almost proved a legend

By Charles Marshburn

In 1992 on our first visit to the Vatican, people were packed inot the Sistine Chapel like sardines under the painting on the ceiling of "The Creation" by Michelangelo.

There was scaffolding around the perimeter of the room for renovation and cleaning of the painting on the ceiling.

My wife was next to me and she stood face to face with a lady she had worked with in Tampa, Florida, whom she had not seen for 10 years! Small world!

Saint Peter's Cathedral is more massive than I could describe, but the Sistine Chapel is not that large. The coincidence floored my wife and her friend.
