Sarah Thompson of Columbia, KY, was named First Runner-up at the Kentucky Festivals Pageant in Lexington on November 23, 2008.

Sarah was representing the Columbia Downtown Days Fall Festival.



She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Thompson of Columbia. Ten 16 year old contestants were entered in the contest.

Sarah is a junior at Adair County High School where she is vice president of her FFA chapter and is a member of the volleyball team.
