Driver injured when vehicle hits tree on Half Acre Road Crash occurs Saturday evening in Russell County An injury collision occurred last evening at 7:50pmCT, Saturday, November 22, 2008, four miles east of Jamestown, KY on Half Acre Road. Kennie R. Bell, 48, Russell Springs, KY, was operating a 1996 Dodge, eastward on Half Acre Road, when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree. The driver was not belted. He was treated and released from the Russell County Hospital. Bell was arrested and chared with operating a motor vehicle under the influence. The accident was investigated by TPR Jeremy Johnson of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY.
