Pottery demonstrations at HRS during Artists Open House

Christmas in Columbia event; click on headlines for complete stories in CM

On the weekend of Christmas in Columbia, there will be demonstrations at Jeff and Henrietta Scott's Highland Raku Studio, located at 7917 Burkesville Road (KY 61), Columbia, KY, in the Sparksville Community of Adair County.

The demonstration on Saturday, December 7, 2008, will feature Steve Scherer. Donnie Perry will demonstrate throwing the wheel on both Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7, 2008. Henrietta Scott also plans to have a pottery firing demonstration during the event.



The demonstrations are part of Artists' Open House, which includes two stops on December 6, from 10:00am to 5:00pmCT and on December 7, 2008, from 1:00pm to 4:00pmCT.

The public is invited to: Highland Raku Studio, 7917 Burkesville Road, Columbia, KY'; and The Heart's Image Gallery, 980 G. Taylor Road, off old KY 80 at 5 mile marker.
