College Tuesday night, November 18, 2008, at Biggers Sports Center. Five players scored in double figures led by sophomore forward Viktoria Krell and senior guard Ewa Bukowska who each scored 22 points. Krell added 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. Lindsey Wilson controlled the interior which led to the Blue Raiders posting season highs in points and field goal percentage. The Blue Raiders -- who are off to their best start since the 1990-91 season -- scored more than half of their points within the paint, out-scoring the visitors 68-28 inside. In addition to their hot shooting, the Blue Raiders (6-0) dominated the boards out-rebounding Berea 51-34. While the Blue Raiders excelled offensively, the Mountaineers (2-5) managed to make just 28-of-81 shots (34.6 percent), including 27.3 percent (12-of-44) from beyond the three-point arc. Berea's up-tempo style did force the Blue Raiders into a season-high 38 turnovers. Lindsey Wilson junior guard Sierra Rambert scored 20 points and junior forward Kristi Apple and sophomore forward Bethany Spillman added 13 points and 10 points respectively. Berea's Candy Walls led all scores with 35 points on 12-of-24 shooting.
