Plague of urban deer endangers College Park motorists Adair Health Department staff now on Full Deer Alert when leaving work To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Ed, you may well be on to something. Just last Thursday, one of our nurses left work a few minutes ahead of the rest of us, and called back just a couple of minutes later to warn us to be on the lookout for deer: Three of them had run across College Park right in front of her car. They came from the direction of our office, and ran through the Pyles' yard and across into the Riddles' yard on the corner of College Park and Wright Drive. Since they may well have been travelling through our parking lot on their trip through the neighborhood, the staff here at the Adair Co. Health Department is now on full deer alert when heading to our vehicles at the end of the day. Thanks! s/Angie Murrell This story was posted on 2008-11-18 15:31:20
