Undercover CPD officer makes bootlegging arrest

Search warrant executed at North Columbia address, where alcohol, cash found

An Adair County man was arrested on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at 7:15pmCT, after selling alcohol to an undercover Columbia Police officer.

Phillip Crawhorn, 36, Columbia, KY, was arrested and charged with illegal sale of alcohol in a dry territory and was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Columbia Police Department Officer Jr. Murphy.

A search warrant was subsequently executed at 164 Parrott Avenue where police say they found a large amount of alcohol and cash was found an confiscated.
