Adair Co. Fire Dept. Pancake Fry aids 2009 Crusade for Children

Great Pancake Breakfast! and it Helps Crusade for Children

Firehouse chefs are already cooking mounds of pancakes and sausage, with butter, coffee and milk, for the Crusade for Children Pancake Fry. The doors are open now to sometime around noon. The pancake fry, now in its 45th or 4tth year (even Shirley Glagow can't remember exactly which it was) is a breakfast/brunch/lunch and reunion rolled into one. For many, it's the reunion and the chance to help the Crusade that counts. The great food is just an added blessing. Every dollar raised in Adair County for the Crusade for children returns to Adair County in the form of grants. (2007 File Photo)
