Reminder: Residents of Greenhills, Parrott Avenue vote in City By Linda Waggener Voters who are residents of newly annexed Greenhills and Parrott Avenue can vote for City Council members in the election today, Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Greenhills voters who live in the newly annexed area should automatically be listed as eligible to vote the City ballot, Adair County Court Clerk Sheila Blair said. But Parrott Avenue residents may need to remind poll workers that they wish to vote as a City resident. Their voting address will need to be "Parrott Avenue," Clerk Blair said. She added that the reason for the difference is that the Parrott Avenue annexation only became official on Tuesday, October 28, 2008. This story was posted on 2008-11-04 03:29:34
