The upside down Christmas tree

Christmas is kicking off early in Columbia and with an unusual addition.Shelby Curry, a first grader in Miss Bridgette's class at CWC holds two Webkins, a November hippo and the December polar bear in front of an upside down Christmas tree. The tree is on sale at Joyce's Hallmark on Jamestown ST in Columbia, KY. It comes pre-lit, but without the ornaments, for $369.95. Joyce's Hallmark had its Ribbon Cutting on October 23, 2008. The owners are Joyce, Ashley, and Amanda Reliford.

No. 1 in the Nation in Action in Columbia

The Lindsey Wilson Women's Soccer Team is in action tonight against Georgetown (KY) College at Lindsey Wilson Park. The photo was taken early in the match. The LWC Women have been ranked No. 1 in the nation in NAIA for the past four weeks. The LWC Men's Soccer Team is also ranked No. 1 and will play the Georgetown men at 7:00pmCT. The stadium is to be named the Walter S. Reuling Soccer Stadium at around 6:45pmCT tonight. Dr. Reuling is a former Lindsey Wilson College President.
