Derek Cape, Brandon Wood, homecoming candidates at LWC By Travis Smith, LWC writer Derek Cape and Brandon Wood of Columbia, KY were named homecoming candidates at Lindsey Wilson College last week. Cape is the son of Darrell and Lisa Cape and will be representing the freshman class. Cape is involved in several clubs and organizations at Lindsey including SAB (Student Activities Board), SGA (Student Government Association), student ambassadors and is a member of the Blue Raider baseball team. Wood, a communications junior, is representing the Lindsey Wilson Singers. Wood is the son of Janice and Gary Conover as well as Ronnie and Regina Wood. Wood is also a member of SGA and FYE Peer Mentors. The homecoming king and queen will be crowned on November 8th between Blue Raider basketball games in Biggers Sports Center at around 3:30 P.M. CT.
