Defending KY Champion Marching Indians in BG Regionals

Regional competition starts at 6:00pmCT. ACHS performs at 8:15pm tonight.

The defending Kentucky State Champion Marching Band fromAdair County High School, is competing in the Kentucky Music Education Association Class AAA West Regonal this evening, Saturday, Octobe 25, 2008, at Warren East High School, 6867 Louisville Road, Bowling Green, KY.

Adair County will be the first band to compete after the 15-minute break starting at 8:00pm.



The contest starts at 6;30pm, with Hart County, Union County, Taylor County, Russell County, Warren East, and Muhlenberg North in the first session.

In the evening session after the break, Adair County will be followed by Franklin-Simpson, Breckinridge County, Paducah Tilghman, Lone Oak and Larue County.

Between the competition and the announcement of the winners, the Campbellsville University band will perform an exhibition.

The announcement of the semi-finalist will come at 10:0pmCT. The semi-finalist will advance to the KMEA Class AAA sem-final State Preliminaries at Meade County High School in Brandenburg, KY on Saturday, November 1, 2008.

The winner at Brandenburg will advance to the KMEA State Marching Band Championship Finals at the University of Louisville on Saturday evening, November 1, 2008.
