Extension Homemakers Christmas Bazaar is Nov. 22, 2006 By Mary Knight The Adair County Extension Homemakers will hold their annual Christmas Bazaar at the County Extension Office, Fairgrounds Street, in Columbia, on Saturday, November 22, 2008, from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Featured for sale will be homemade jams, jellies, cinnamon buns, cakes, pies, candies, cookies, and other delicioius baked goods. Handmade crafts and holiday decorations, candles, throws, raffle baskets, and frequent door prizes will round out the day. Santa will be in attendance, and will take pictures with kids from 10:00am to 12 NoonCT, and with pets from 12 Noon to 1:00pmCT ($5.00 donation). At that time, he will have to hurry back to his workshop at the North Pole. But before he leaves, He'll choose lunch for Mrs. Claus and the elves from the potato soup, chili, and sandwich/salad plates that will be available. For further information, call 270-384-2317.
