Just wanted to let you know about a wonderful man's birthday today, my dad, Owen Pollard! He is 86 years young TODAY!! He, as everyone who knows him, is full of energy, wit, charm and a gift of gab. I am truly blessed to have had him in my life, especially in such great health and state of mind! There truly is never a dull moment with him. He always has a smile and a story to tell. f you see him out and about today, holler at him and say Happy Birthday!

OWEN POLLARD, center is 86 years young today. His daughter Sally Kemp says there's never been a dull moment around this wonderful Adair County Treasure. With him, above, are Mrs. Pollard and son-in-law Jimmy Kemp. The photo was taken at the graduation ceremony for Mr. Pollard's great friend, Edgar Holmes, on October 16, 2008.
