Three injured in accident two miles south of Columbia, KY

All three occupants were injured in a crash caused by a rainslick roadway, at 3:00pmCT, today, Thursday, October 15, 2008. The accident occurred 2 miles south of Columbia on State Park Road.

According to the KSP, the driver was northbound on State Park Road, met another vehicle and applied the brakes and lost control because of the wet road way, overturned, and ejected both passengers.

Linda Pelston, 47, the driver,and Ronnie Pelston, 42, a passenger, were treated and released at Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY.



Another passenger, Tasha Pelston, 16, was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. All are residents of Columbia. No seatbelts were in use at the time of the accident.
