No. 1 in Nation LWC Soccer Women roll over Campbellsville 7-0

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY- The No.1-ranked Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team beat Campbellsville (KY) College 7-0 today.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore Satsuki Kato scored her seventh goal of the season and added an assist to propel the Blue Raiders to the easy victory.



Freshman midfielder Rikke Bottcher added two goals of her own, as Lindsey Wilson scored five second half goals.

Lindsey Wilson outshot Campbellsville 16-1 for the game.

Junior goalkeeper Carrie Revlett picked up her third shutout of the season stopping the only shot she faced. Revlett is now one shutout away from moving into a second place tie on the all-time shutout list.

The Blue Raiders stand at 9-1 on the season.

Lindsey Wilson soccer women return to action at 3:00pmCT on Monday, October 13, 2008, as they travel to the University of the Cumberlands at Williamsburg, KY.
