LWC Volleyball falls to Campbellsville

The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team lost their second straight home match as No. 20-ranked Campbellsville (KY) University beat the Blue Raiders 3-1 at Biggers Sports Center.

Lindsey Wilson (14-5 overall and 4-3 in the Mid-South Conference) took the first game from Campbellsville 25-23. From that point on Campbellsville controlled the match winning the next three games 25-19, 25-23, 25-21.



Campbellsville improves to 18-5 and 6-1 in the MSC with the win.

Linsey Wilson freshman Mirjam Pfyl led the Blue Raiders with 20 kills and freshman Sophie Altermatt added 12 in the loss. Junior Sarah Kline led the team with 41 assists on the night and freshman Rachael Anderson led the way with 21 digs.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 7:00pmCT on Thursday, October 9, as the Blue Raiders host Indiana University (Ind.) Southeast at Biggers Sports Center.
