LWC Golf Women finish 2nd at Trevecca Nazarene Invitational ColumbiaMagazine.com SPORTS By Chris Wells, LWC Sports Information Director NASHVILLE, TN--The Lindsey Wilson College womens golf team struggled today and dropped a spot to finish in second place at the Trevecca Nazarene University Fall Invitational played at Ravenwood Country Club. The Blue Raiders shot a season-high 332 on Tuesday to finish with a two-day total of 655 (323-332). Bethel (IN) College won the two-day event with a team total of 649 (325-324). University of Mobile (AL) finished third with a 683 (335-348). Lindsey Wilson junior Krista Burton led the Blue Raiders with a two-day total of 155 (76-79) over the par 72, 5,843 yard course. Junior Jessica Smiths 162 (79-83) and sophomore Chelsey Keys 165 (83-82) earned the pair top-10 finishes. Smith ended in eighth and Key tied for ninth in the 46-woman field. Lindsey Wilson senior Aline Decker finished 20th with a 173 (85-88) and junior Tracy McClain ended in a tie for 38th with a 203 (95-108). Lee (TN) Universitys Rachel Ingram won the event with a two-day total of 148 (73-75). The Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders women golfers conclude their fall schedule at the Chick-fil-A Invitational hosted by Berry (GA) College in Rome, Ga.
