Comment: Tobacco harvest scene at Knifley, KY About: Harvesting tobacco, Knifley, KY ColumbiaMagazine.com: This picture touched me in a way that not many would understand. Not only is it a beautiful picture, it is a part of my past that I miss everyday. During our tobacco growing days I couldn't wait to get to the age where I didn't have to do this anymore. Now, what I would give to have one day back with my dad, mom and three brothers in a tobacco field. So many times we don't realize the memories that are being made until years later. Thank you and Linda for listening to me, especially when I am missing my youth and my home. s/Paula Ball This story was posted on 2008-10-07 02:10:23
