Obituary: Judy Lane Claywell, 66

Mrs. Claywell was member of a respected South Adair County family and of the Sparksville Church of the Nazarene. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY.

Judy Lane Claywell, 66, 312 Adair Avenue, Columbia, KY, passed away Friday, October 3, 2008, at 1:03pmCT, at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY, after several months illness.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 6, 2008, at 2:00pmCT, at the Fudge Cemetery, Breeding, KY, with Bro. Larry Wisdom officiating.



She was born May 7, 1942, the daughter of the late Edwin P. and Geneva Fudge Walker of Adair County, KY.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Justin D. Claywell and his wife Misty, Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Selenia Ann Wells and her husband Doug, Bakerton, KY

  • Four brothers: Howard W. Walker, Summit, II; Donald Walker, Sparksville, KY; Terry Walker, Bowling Green, KY; and Dale Walker, Southern, IL

  • Five grandchildren: Ashley Nicole Lanz, Kristy Brooke Claywell, Jenna Lee Claywell, Jacquelline McKenzie Wells, and Hannah Petra Rochelle Wells
Mrs. Claywell was a member of the Sparksville Church of the Nazarene and was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom, Campbellsville, KY.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 1:00pm on Monday, October 6, 2008, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.
