Section KY 100 in Monroe Co., KY to be closed for repairs

BY Keirsten Jaggers, KYTC, Bowling Green, KY
KYTC crews will be closing KY 100 in Monroe County beginning Monday, October 6, 2008, at 8:00amCT. The closure will be at the Barren River East Fork Bridge at mile marker 13.5 between Gamaliel and Freetown.

Crews will be working on the bridge approaches and lane closures will be used around the clock until the work is finished on Wednesday afternoon, October 8, 2008.

Because the road will be completely closed during this time, a signed detour will be set up and signed using KY 1336 and KY 63 until this work is completed.

Motorists are advised to reduce their speed and pay attention to signage while traveling through this area.
