Growing up in a small town is like having a whole bunch of relatives that you don't often see, but when you do, there is a warm sense of familiarity that dulls the loneliness one sometimes feels when he has moved away. There are many great things about Adair County that I miss, like the beautiful farmland and countrysides; however, the thing that keeps Adair County special in my heart is the people.
