Go Fishing? with the Adair County Garden Club

Would you believe that the Adair County Garden Club is now making fish? Oh, not those old smelly kind that your Grandfather liked to catch but the kind that are at home in your garden. These fancy flying fish are made from recycled 2 liter soda bottles and Lila Loy, master fish crafter and gardener will be teaching her craft on Thursday October 16, 2008, at 1:00pmCT, at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia. This is a free class. Please bring an empty, clean 2 litter bottle with the lable and glue removed. The Garden Club will provide all the necessary supplies and tools. For more information on this class or other Adair County Garden Club activities please call Barbara Armitage at (270) 250-2979. -BARBARA ARMITAGE.
